[Oh, yes. She knows. And she's already reserved the right to slap him so hard his grandparents felt it if he ever went back to Lovi. He was better than that. Everyone knew that...except Fai. But like the kind, caring, and just as romantically damaged person she is, Lorna nods understandingly.

Then she stops nodding.

And her eyes get a little wide.]

...who did you kiss? [And she hopes to God it's not Hotstreak, because she already made that mistake.]

[It's good that she doesn't berate him, because he's already in a fragile state of mind as it is. He doesn't want to explain how very hard it is to be two people who love each other and want so badly to be kissed by the other, and the only thing that stops you is knowing that you both are incredibly bad for each other.

He sighs, burying his face against her shoulder so that she won't see him blush, except even the back of his neck is turning pink.]

Feliks.

[She's not sure who's in the worse situation. Fai and Lovino have all of...that. But the person Lorna loves doesn't want to kiss her or touch her, absolutely broke her heart, yet he still wants to lavish her in gifts and be her friend. She just hasn't told Fai about that last part. At all.

Her eyes are still wide as he throws himself on her. She doesn't see the blush--she feels it and wonders if he's running a fever.

Then he says that name.

Her wide eyes turn ginormous.

And her phone vibrates in her bag. Absolutely welcoming that distraction, she tries to get in her perch with her best friend draped on her.]

Oh--uhm... I should get...that. You see, it--it may be an emergency and--

[Having no idea how to deal with this kind of conversation and praying something would come to her, she checked the text message. Then she blurts out a string of Yiddish words that do not at all sound appropriate for a lady to be saying or for anyone to hear.]

[He jumps a bit when her phone vibrates and backs off a tiny bit, still with his head ducked and with his cheeks bright with embarrassment. And then she starts swearing - it's kind of obvious, athough he has no idea what she's actually saying - and he bites his bottom lip nervously.]

Lorna is- What happened?

[You know, she always thought her two best friends in the entire world would make a lovely couple, but not like this. Her face mirrors Fai's as she looks back up at him, then she shows him her phone. Well, the message is written in Polish, but it's marked clearly as from Feliks.]

Fai--

[She sighs.] We should go talk to him.

[He flinches when he sees the text, hunching his shoulders a bit and looking thoroughly ashamed.]

I didn't- Well, I didn't mean to- You know how we're always very tactile with each other, right? I just... took it a step too far, and everything got kind of awkward, and I probably enjoyed doing that a little too much, and-

[He sighs, burying his face in his hands.]

I'm not planning on messing up our friendship over a stupid rebound thing. I'm not. But I'm not sure what it is that I feel.
